　　There is one thing in common in my family, that is, no matter in my father’s workbag, in my mother’s purse, or even in my schoolbag, there is a pair of chopsticks. strange? let me tell you the reason. my mom said: “just as if we eat out one time a day, we’ll save 1000 pairs of chopsticks in a year’s time. that means we have saved a big tree.

　　My dad said: “without every single person, there is no human race. so, it is everyone’s duty to protect the environment. saying a thousand times of protecting environment is not as useful as putting a pair of chopsticks in your bag.

　　I said: “this is a good habit, i shall pass it to the next generation. the pair of chopsticks reminds us that it is our duty to protect the environment, to save our planet. my dear friends, have you put a pair of chopsticks in your bag? if you haven’t, just do it now.

　　My name is xx .this evening i want to talk something about college life . it include four aspects study,relative ,friendship and love .the first thing i want to say is study. we all have dreams before we enter university,we dream that we can have much more free time and we can improve us according to our advantages ,so we studied hard at junior school and senior school .now we are here in linyi normal university but many of us have no smails on their faces because here is not the place we have been dreaming for. what i want to say is that you can enter a better university to start your heigher education if you studied hard here.so you must calm down and start to study. study is the first thing you must do at university because study can help you achieve you dream.

　　Now,i want to ask some of you a question: where you get your money from? who can answer my question? --------yes we get our money from our parents. this is the second thing i want to say : the relative .our parents paied us here , they give all the things they have so we must respect them and get on well with them ,they also need us just like we need them.apart from our parents we have many other relatives ,they also give us supports, we should respect them and get on well with them too. if we have no relatives we will have no power to study here.

　　When we start to study we meet many new faces which will live with us for four years we must make friends with them .just like the saying says friends play an important role in our life,if you have many fiends you will have less troublts in your life ,if you have no friends you will have troublts everwhere in your life,so do you want to have many friends? of course the answer is ‘yes’.this is the third thing i want to say :the friendship.

　　Love is the last thing i want to say.as far as i can see love is the last thing you do at uiversity.if you fall into the river you will never get out,this does greet harm to your body and your study.besides many people say that love will not give you the sense of sweetness during schoollife.so i do not support on-campus students start their love at university.

　　My deer students,our college life will be richfull if we have planes in our minds.to tell the truth we have little time to stay here our roads are in front .so everone let us start to run toward our roads we have in our mines and we will be the victor in the future!

　　I wanna welcome everybody here in this cheer team. thank you for coming here this morning to stand on my side cheering me on. it’s my dream to have the opportunity to challenge all the foreign athletes to the championship at this great occasion: 20xx olympic games. now, the dream came true. as an athlete of china, i’m here to win the gold medal of orienteering for our motherland.

　　I’m so proud of being one of the best players in the world. but could you believe i had been a lazy girl when i was in junior high. i’m not kidding! at that time, running was my last favorite. i really don’t know how to describe the first time i was on the track. it was horrible. when i started to run, i was simply out of breath. and while i touched the finishing line, i really didn’t know if i was still alive. it’s so funny, huh? but it’s true, i did.

　　Well, something happened and changed the situation. we won the right of holding the olympic games in 20xx. after that, sports became a kind of game in campus. and there are many sports clubs in school. one day someone asked me:“are you gonna try one of those?”first i felt so wired.

　　“Try to get into sports clubs? are you kidding?” i said. and she goes: “why not it’s not hard at all, and so fascinating!” so i did tried one and i was so lucky to become one of those who did orienteering. that is a fantastic sport! you need to run and find where to go just by using a map and a compass. it’s wasn’t popular in china at first. but when we heard it might become a new event in 20xx, we did practiced hard, and aimed to win the first champion of orienteering in the world. when we practiced, there were a lot of troubles. you know, sometimes you need to go with your feet, but sometimes you need to go with your heart. in some situations, we faced the difficulties and problems. and we need to solve that through teamwork and strong willpower. so we can run faster, go higher and be stronger. that is what we say—olympic spirit.

　　Now the dream came true. i’m standing here with all my body and my heart put in sports. so do the people from all over the world to here at the olympic games. it’s the olympic games that make us together. we are here for a big day of sport; we are here for a dream of sports. we are here for a spirit of sport that encourages us to face the difficulties of today and tomorrow.
