　　good moring ,today i'm so happy to make this speech to you ,my topic is "be yourself"

　　as we all know life is short and hard ,and the word we live in are full of hardship,so ,their are some people ,maybe many people ,lost theirselvs in the word ,they do not know who they are ,do not know what they are for ,and why they are for ,but when they become themselvs they will know what is important to him ,and what should he do ,today you and i ,and all of us entry this school ,what we are for ,is we for money ?is we for beautiful girls?or if we for playing ?to be yourslef ,and you will know the real question ,the question only adjust you .so be yourself .and your school life will be full of sunshine your life will be full of happy .that is all

　　Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,

　　I am Chinese. I am proud of being a Chinese with five thousand years of civilization behind. I've learned about the four great inventions made by our forefathers. I've learned about the Great Wall and the Yangtze River. I've learned about Zhang Heng(张衡)and I've learned about Zheng He(郑和).Who says the Yellow River Civilization has vanished(消失)?I know that my ancestors have made miracles(奇迹)on this fertile land and we're still making miracles. Who can ignore the fact that we have established ourselves as a great state in the world, that we have devised our own nuclear weapons, that we have successfully sent our satellites into space, and that our GNP ranks No. 7 in the world? We have experienced the plunders (掠夺) by other nations, and we have experienced the war. Yet, based on such ruins, there still stands our nation----China, unyielding and unconquerable!

　　I once came across an American tourist. She said, “China has a history of five thousand years, but the US only has a history of 200 years. Five thousand years ago, China took the lead in the world, and now it is the US that is leading.”My heart was deeply touched by these words. It is true that we're still a developing nation, but it doesn't mean that we can despise (鄙视) ourselves. We have such a long-standing history, we have such abundant resources, we have such intelligent and diligent people, and we have enough to be proud of. We have reasons to say proudly： we are sure to take the lead in the world in the future again, for our problems are big, but our ambition (雄心) is even bigger, our challenges (挑战) are great, but our will is evengreater.

　　I am Chinese. I have inherited (继承) black hair and blackeyes. I have inherited the virtues of my ancestors. I have also taken over responsibility. I am sure, that wherever I go, whatever I do, I shall never forget that I am Chinese!

　　Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .

　　Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.

　　Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .

　　Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being „s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what‟s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there‟s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

　　When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80. That‟s all ! Thank you!

　　I have a dream Every one has his own dream.When I was a little kid ,my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own .But now ,when I am 16 years old ,standing here ,my dreams have already changed a lot.

　　I have got quite different experience from other girls.While they were playing toys at home,while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story .I was running in the hard rain,jumping in the heavy snow,pitching in the strong wind.Nothing could stop me ,because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be an athlete.Yeah ,of course ,I'm an athlete,I'm so proud of that all the time .

　　When I was 10 years old ,I became a shot-put athlete.The training was really hard ,I couldn't bear the heavy shot in my hands .But I always believe that "god only help those who help themselves".During those hard days,I find I was growing more quickly than others of the same age.To be an athlete is my most correct choice.But,I quit my team after entering high school because of a silly excuse.I really didn't want to stop my sports career anyway.

　　Today I say to you my friends that even though I must face the difficulties of yesterday ,today and tomorrow .I still have a dream .It is a dream deeply rooted in my soul.

　　I have a dream that one day ,I can run,jump and pitch just like I used to be.

　　I have a dream that one day , I can go back to my dream sports and join the national team.

　　I have a dream that one day ,I can stand on the highest place at the olympic games.With all the cameras pointing at me.I will tell everyone that I'm so proud to be a Chinese athlete!

　　This is my hope .This is the faith that I continue my steps with!!!

　　With this faith ,I will live though the strong wind and heavy rain ,never give up !

　　So let victory ring from my heart,from all of you.When we allow victory to ring .I must be the one!

　　In my imagination,I'm a bird ,a magical bird.I carry my dreams all with me by my big wings. I fly though the mountains ,though the forests ,over the sea,to the sun ,the warmest place in the aerospace!

　　Every night ,I have a dream ,I see a girl ---smiling!

　　I have a happy family: Has me, daddy, mother. My father is one very strict, but the very humorous person, my mother is also very beautiful, because she likes by the beautiful development at the same time in front of others. They are the merchants, therefore is very busy, but actually very much cared that pays attention to my life and the study. My hobby hits the computer, studies English, plays the piano, I like all with the music related matter, moreover likes in the clear weather the morning taking a walk the seashore.

　　My father daddy likes the outdoor activity, takes a walk and likes in the morning and the evening reads the newspaper, and said frequently with me about the society in the matter! Mother compares likes looking that the television watches the serial TV opera. But she looks like every day is quite busy! looks that father and mother rush about tired, sometimes I how want to make anything for father and mother, but father and mother always say me now most importantly the long spot society experience and the multi-study knowledge! therefore, I thought that now I must study well most importantly, after growing up, give my father mother the happy life.
